How to Achieve Success: Work vs. Steal
So, what do you think is a better option? How to achieve success in life? Is it better to work at it… or steal the limelight?
There are many paths to achieve success. But all the various ways boil down to just two options when it comes to the big decision! You can either work your way there by doing the right things and putting in the necessary efforts or you can have someone else do the hard work for you and reap the benefits when the time comes.
Everyone wants to be successful in life. And having someone do all the work for you will get you success no doubt. But be warned that you achieve only temporary success. For example, the student who copies off his friend during exams does end up getting great grades. But the success is only temporary. Just as long as ‘grades’ are useful… What will he do later on in life when the knowledge needs to be put to use? Does he remember anything? Of course not! The success was stolen – and it was temporary.
However the student who actually studied well and wrote the same answer and also achieved success in form of grades will be successful in any venture that needs him to put that knowledge to use. Thus the success is long lasting – much beyond the time when ‘grades’ are needed. The same thing goes for employees working in the office, a team working on a project etc.
Just remember, to achieve success, work will always get you there. As long as you put in the effort sincerely, you will be successful. Those who steal – get temporary success but will lose out in the long run!
